4. your truly could be next
My relatives were from Tipperary and I happen to be related to the Donovan family as well. :wtf:

Perhaps I'm a distant Irish relation living here in the USA?

I'm not an O'Bama however. ;)

12. Famine years?
That is when my family came here from Ireland as did many others. They came to New York and then around the Cape Horn they came to the west coast!

10. I am one of many 7th cousins of President Obama via our common
Allred family line.

So is my assistant, who is also a 7th cousin of mine!

Gotta love those prolific Mormons.

14. Amen - have been working on family tree.
I am using actual family records and checking against ancestry.wrong. Its largely a fantasy.

15. that is true
I have a cousin that has been working on my mother's side of the family long before there was an internet.

The info. she has and has actually written a book about doesn't match what ancestry.com has on my mother's family.

I'm no big fan of the Church of Latter Day Saints as they call themselves.

It is info. and how you care to interpret it is up to you. It is nice to have some facts to back your ideas up no doubt.
