One of these fools could be President.
Today it's Pawlenty. Gingrich, Romney, Huntsmen, Daniels. They all look like lightweight losers. But we need to remember the lesson of 2000. Don't estimate the lack of thought of the American voter. And even though we know he really lost, enough people voted for an intellectually incompetent candidate, to let him worm his way in.
Look at the kind of people the voters of Maine, Florida, NJ and Wisconsin put into office.
2012 is not in the bag, a lot can happen and we should be very worried about the possibility of one of these fool getting elected.

1. It's Romney's turn, isn't it?
If so, does it really matter?

3. You're damned right it does matter!! If Obama wins, we'll at least have some kind of a democracy
until 2016. Then, hopefully a new and stronger Dem. president might take over.
But if a Neocon wins in 2012, they will complete the job that Bush started
in 2001. That could mean the official and total end of democracy in our USA.

Many people just don't see this difference. Democracy could very well be on
its last legs here -- right now. At least try to delay its death for as long
as possible.

Where there is life, there is hope!

6. Democracy is the problem, not the solution.
Section 4 - Republican government

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

2. With their nation-wide criminal election fraud, Repubs. could very well win. All we need
is to look at the fraud going on in Wisconsin right now. This is exactly
what will happen in the whole country come Nov. 2012. Neocons will be
going all out this time. Since their crimes are never punished, they
just couldn't give a damn.

4. If the GOP takes over, and they maintain their power through their
well-known election fraud, it wouldn't take long for our country to
become another Third World nation. The right-wingers are doing
everything they can to turn this great country into a backward one
-- all for their own profit. It's amazing, but half of our people
don't even realize what is going on. They've been well brain-washed
by over a century of right-wing propaganda and lies. We've been
thoroughly dumbed down.

5. From the lack of response from my thread here
I'd say there are quite a few on our side that are apathetic or in denial too.

8. No one has a chance against Obama in 2012
Which is why all the sane republicans are sitting it out. That just leaves the crazy ones (well, the more crazy than usual ones).

This republican field is really an indication of how strong Obama is.

9. Heard that in 1999
"GWB has no chance, and even if he wins, how bad could it be."
Don't get lulled in to a false sense of security. Things can be that bad.
