Willie went on: "I think I will wait and see where he stands on other things. My bad. Sorry. I still think he is a good guy but so Is Dennis and if he decided to run I would personally vote for him. If it came down to either him or Gary I'm already committed to Dennis. They both have said they support legal pot."

1. See, Willie is not just a one issue voter.
He just cares most about one issue. :P

4. Somehow the legalization of pot doesn't strike me as the sort of issue
that should be *the* deciding factor for choosing a president. People are out of work; the environment is polluted; we're running out of oil; there are wars going on; all kinds of other shit is falling down on us, and he'd even consider disregarding all that just so he could do weed legally?

6. I agree it just seems so trivial given everything else thats going on
but it seems there is a whole section of the population who votes on that one issue alone.

11. If you're gonna pick one issue to base your support on
Legalization of weed is a hell of a lot better than opposition to abortion or same sex marriage.

18. Agreed, And this is one issue that both ends of the spectrum agree on.
That marijuana should be legal. Period.

I have seen and met all kinds of people - Democratic, Republican, Independent, Anarchist, Fascists, all come in to the local dispensaries and get what they want - and with a license. It is an effective medication, and what's more, it does NO harm to anyone and studies after studies have shown to be beneficial to people with pain, cancer, stress, depression, and others. It's just not for everyone. I continue to make my arguments with my parents (who aren't too thrilled about my MMJ, but understand it) making tons of comparsions, and the latest one is my mother asking me how it feels, and does it feel like alcohol. I told her it's completely something different, it's just hard to describe, but it gives you that serene feeling, which is the best about what I can describe. Just living with less pain.

27. Well, legalizing weed could provide much needed tax revenue to fund services...
and not to mention stop throwing money into the unwinnable sinkhole that is the Drug War.

Country stars make Pol Pot seem like Charley Brown.

22. And do you know what hyperbole leads to, Sir?
Fascism, that's what! First you're calling the Dixie Chicks worse than Pol Pot, then you're goosestepping your army of brainwashed followers into Canada so you can hunt down Shania Twain like she was an Alaskan wolf. So I ask you: why do you hate wolves in particular, and Canada in general? Because you know who else hated Canada? Hitler, that's who. Except he at least liked wild animals (thought hunting was cruel, ironically enough), so I guess that makes you worse than Hitler, doesn't it?

17. Caught that endorsement the other day - that made me wonder
for a minute, even talked to my local dispensary people about it - they agreed it was a very strange endorsement and was glad to hear that it was unendorsed.

Celebstoner.com had the scoop - on both ends. Willie has tons of class, and know who the right people are. He also meant that Gary Johnson was to be endorsed in the REPUBLICAN side of the Rethug crowd - believe it or not, but decided to back out of it completely which is the right thing to do. (And no, I'm not even shilling the website - just happen to know where the source is).

Man, it's really cool to talk about stuff like this. And just finished a half a bowl of Master Kush.
