Jon Stewart will debate Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on O’Reilly’s show tonight
The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart will debate Fox News host Bill O’Reilly on O’Reilly’s show tonight regarding rapper Common’s invitation to the White House. O’Reilly challenged Stewart to the debate on the faux-scandal last Thursday “because it’s important,” he said. Stewart referred to those upset by the “two-time Grammy-winning vegetarian’s invite” as “twits.”

.................

It's rare to see Jon Stewart and Bill O'Reilly on the same set.

But the late-night comedian has agreed to appear on “The O'Reilly Factor” to debate the controversy surrounding rapper Common's recent appearance at the White House.

On Thursday, O'Reilly said on his Fox News program that he would like to debate Stewart on the "Common situation because it's important."

And Stewart has agreed to appear on O'Reilly’s show Monday.

1. Not sure about this
Sometimes John gives way to celebrities. Not that I think O'Reilly is a celebrity.

10. For those of you who remember Jon Stewarts's appearance on
CNN's Crossfire a few years ago, you know that you don't have to worry about Jon carrying more than his own against that mental little person

13. If only it could end the same way this time.

You can't convince me he didn't personally shame that show right into cancellation. Too bad no one involved with this show is capable of shame, responsibility or of acknowledging reality. I can take some comfort in him making a fool of that windbag at least. And Jon can of course use his own show to set the record straight if need be.
