Ordering medications /drugs from foreign retailers

Has anyone done this? I want to start the hcg diet and everyone recommended a particular site online...

So I placed my order and my bank called twice to verify that I made the purchase. It was kind of embarrassing and now wondering if it's even legal and if I should be worried about my bank turning me in?

1. Your bank won't turn you in

The very worst thing they will do is charge you a foreign transaction fee on a credit card. Citibank did this to me, and I won't use their card anymore.

I get Protonix from a Canadian pharmacy for a quarter of what it would cost with the drug plan that goes along with my high-deductable medical plan. Since I'm allowed to buy drugs overseas with my health savings account, it's a no-brainer, even though my purchases outside of my 'plan' don't count towards my annual deductible. When you're paying less than a buck a pill, versus over four bucks a daily pill, that adds up quick.

3. I wouldn't worry about the bank....

My main concern with ordering overseas would be that they just take your money, and you have no recourse... or what you get is not what you ordered.
