I Thought Harry Was Bringing Ryan Budget to a Senate Vote?
The grand news during the spring vacation was that Harry was going to force a vote on the Ryan budget in the Senate to make the Repukes go on record as wanting to destroy Medicare, etc. Is that still going to happen? I'm wondering if some of our more "right" leaning sweethearts actually might have voted for it or if Harry has been forced to back down so that the poor Repukes wouldn't be put on the spot (they get their panties in a wad whenever someone calls them out)! Come on, Harry, make them pose for pictures with Eddie Munster and his budget........

4. I'd rather that he knows he has the vote to stop it than to go
forward. He knows that if Ryan's budget passes it will STILL be blamed, somehow, on the Democrats.

this isn't a game, the consequences affect all of us. Do you really want to risk Ryan's budget passing? If so, you are either way too young for Social security or you don't have children or aging parents or at least lack a combination of all of the above.

I fall into several of those categories. I don't care to risk the passing of Ryan's budget.

5. No. Make the repugs eat it. Obama would veto it even if Dems crossed the line

7. I'm 66, on Medicare, have 3 children and 5 grandchildren
and am sick at the thought that this is EXACTLY why Harry won't call a vote---i.e., there are DEMS who would actually vote for it! In other words, Harry is afraid of something and that scares the shit out of me. Lets face it---basically the Senate is also in Repuke hands.

6. There may have been a strongly worded letter written to that effect
it probably never got mailed.
