LaHood says the money returned from Florida will be
used in the North East corridor - in 15 states plus Amtrak.

He's on Morning Joe Scum - great news

"But...but... what about the other states with GOP governors who turned the money down?"

4. LaHood sure shut up bigmouth Jim Cramer!
I've never seen Cramer put away that fast. LaHood was taking no prisoners when it came to Cramer's nonsense...Cramer fell eerily silent after LaHood challenged his remark that the admin.s fight was with CSX instead of the intransigent governor...

8. I'm thrilled
First we are talking 2 years not a decade.
Immediate jobs north and south the line - and east/west.
Jobs surrounding those jobs (diners, convenient stores, etc. etc.) since people will be working in the area for the build.

And most important? High speed from NYC up to Buffalo. So I can walk the half mile to Bridgewater Station, hop up to Newark, cross over, and take a train to see my family in Rochester . . .in a shorter period of time than driving and with less stress than flying. woo hooooooooooo!
