One day last week our newspaper announced that reader comments were being discontinued. The last comments posted were about "The Birth Certificate." Then:

President Obama eviscerated Trump.

And then,

President Obama got Bin Laden.

Next,

we were treated with a front page story about our notorious Bin Laden hunter (just now featured on Cenk);

Then, a lovely article about how Ken ("I don't wear high heels) Buck and the sheriff broke the law and incurred court costs of $300K+ that we taxpayers will have to cough up while the perps get to shrug it off.

And the editors just did an interesting editorial about Terry Lakin, the birther soldier who is from here and who is presently serving time in prison.



I have a sneaking suspicion that the editors at the paper have a magic 8 ball that warned them ahead of time. Not at all sure that there would have been sufficient bandwidth to handle the comments these last few days. And morning is just plain weird. About halfway through the first cup of coffee I find my hands suspended above the keyboard waiting for a forum that is no longer there. Hmmm...idle hands...devil's workshop...this'd be dangerous if I were a winger...

3. I actually just explained it again in another post.

Basically it is a holder for an entire framework of thought over many years.

It is a really long story.

And I have posted it many times. It is the point of justice and compassion I stand on, and in metaphor that is what it is about. Basic concepts of due process, and rights of every individual from anarchy attacks outside of law.

It comes from when I got smeared after buying a cripple a soft drink in a bar, that some people told me I should be mean to, a request outside of due process, or concepts of justice and compassion.



Been posting this song lately, like the idea of sharing kindness with anyone in hardship, and with better thoughts. Also like the cameo of the Wallace Associate in it.

I still believe people in hardship should be helped, and treated with justice and compassion.
