Alex Bennett replaces Bill Press on XM radio mornings. And he sucks!!

Can anyone assure Alex Bennett will grow on me for my morning drive? I used to have Bill Press from 6:00 - 7:00 Central tims and now I have Alex. And he did not do anything but talk about non-political stuff for the 15 minutes I could stand him.

Any fans?

His program is so foolish. The few times I did have it on, they sounded like junior high kids talking nonsense and I had to quickly turn the channel.

According to the Sirius XM website he is on from 6-9am on Channel 853 (Sirius XM Left+).
New channel addition...with timeshifted/expanded XM Left programming.

If you have a subscription to Sirius/XM internet radio, they have a new channel Sirius/XM Left Plus, I believe it's channel 853. They have Bill Press, Stephanie and pretty much the old XM America Left schedule.

This may not help in drive time.

Listened to parts of Alex Bennett's show this morning--thought he was awful. Very little political content. I got used to Bill Press, but I don't think I can even try with AB. At least Press talked politics most of the time.

While at KMEL, Bennett’s mother, Ruth, achieved fame as the world’s oldest album-oriented rock disk jockey when she hosted a Sunday night countdown show on KMEL from 1982 to 1983. Bennett hosted the station’s morning show, and Ruth continued at KMEL for a year after his departure for KQAK. Ruth died in 2005 at the age of 100.

Dont worry Bennet sucks so bad he wont last long. Like all decisions it probably has to do with money. I noticed that after the network newsbreak top of the hour there were no ads with the show today. Probably getting it on the cheap, which is why it is sleazy
