Indiana sets the stage for clash with Obama administration over abortion
Source: LA Times

The controversy revolves around abortion even though the federal law says none of the Medicaid money can be used to pay for them. Indiana Republicans say, however, that paying for medical services provided by a Planned Parenthood clinic supports the facility and indirectly subsidizes abortion.

1. Interesting how the repugnants wiggle their way through the ...
laws of the land isn't it? "...paying for medical services provided by a Planned Parenthood clinic supports the facility and indirectly subsidizes abortion."

Yeah...and subsidizing all the fundy charities also INDIRECTLY SUBSIDIZES and supports religious organizations and the facilities they own.

Can one really have one's cake and eat it too?

2. Mitch Daniels
signed this p.o.s. claiming the majority of Hoosiers wanted this. I call Bullshit! He just lost 5mil in federal assistance, so Planned Parenthood would not get their 200k. And guess what? The federal government is still going to collect Hoosier monies and now give it to our neighboring states. Two reasons why Mitch Daniels will NEVER be elected president. 1) He is a former Lilly exec who has a history of destroying surplus budgets. He has been stealing Fed food stamp monies and denying unemployment on an arbitrary basis to shore up IN bank accounts. 2) He is all of 5'2" tall.

3. Inconsistent stands like this is one reason why the repukes are "unprincipled"
If they stood by a principle, then it would apply in all cases and not pick and choose.

4. I am embarrased to say I live in this fucked up state...
abortion is only .5% of what PPH does, and it is not a drive up abortion clinic. Fucking pukes make is sound as though women are having abortions just for the hell of it, and so the pukes find it necessary to put their nose where it does not belong. This is not less Government, as they so cheeerlead about, this is invasive Government into the private matters of individuals and forcing women to carry when it becomes unhealthy to do so, for women and fetus and for rape victims to carry a fetus they should not have to carry if they so choose.

The ignorance that all pregnacies are health ones is delusional, if someone is six months into their term and it comes to light that the fetus has not deveopled properly and would not live a long after birth or that significant malformations have developed but you are forced to carry to term anyway because republicans can not see past their wreckless ideologies.

Moreover, pukes want to lower federal and state debt, and so they in turn want women to have children they may not want or our able to provide for, just so they can give them up to become wards of the state and become burdens on tax payers.
