The Pres. Obama Meme RE: Paying Troops
Edited on Tue May-03-11 10:11 PM by TheOther95Percent
A Tea Party acquaintance posted this comment on my FB post congratulating President Obama on a job well done.

"President Obama doesn't deserve shit. President Obama didn't want to pay the Navy SEALS, or anyone else in the Armed Forces, a month ago but he certainly is ready to take credit for accomplishments he hardly had anything to do with. It just... so happens that he is the one in office now so he gets to pretend it happened because of him, but the order came years ago, and fortunately they were finally able to carry them out."

This was my response.

We disagree. President Obama threatened to veto a military funding bill if it included provisions unrelated to funding the troops pay like an abortion provision that some idiot stuck into the measure.

I quoted from Tea Party nut job, Alan West,

As Tea Party freshman Rep. Allen West pointed out yesterday, if Republicans are so concerned about funding the troops, they should support a standalone measure to ensure they're paid. West said he was "disgusted at the perception that Leaders in my own Party...are now using the men and women in uniform" to pass a short-term budget bill.

1. Conservanazis are such idiots.
They could care less about the truth as long as it pushes their ideology.

The guy is an a$$hole.

3. They just have to lie about him or insult him or his wife.
I do volunteer work at a non-profit here in Texas. These folks around here are ate up with the conservanazi propaganda. I'm retired union. They know absolutely nothing about unions, yet they are 'experts' on the issue. Finally, I told a stupid conservanazi one day, what's his f*cking problem? I came here to give my profession expertise to improve this building, not to come to be insulted by him all day. If he didn't like it, first, I didn't need his help, secondly, he could explain to the powers that be why I left the job unfinished and would refuse to go back. Then, I told him I don't care WHAT he believes. So far, I said, you've proven to me that you are just another conservanazi toadie.
He changed his attitude.

I'm sick of the f*cks like that.

6. Good for you.
A union job paid for my education. My father was able to earn a decent living and support a family on a union salary.

9. I've never seen so many grumpy gus faces
over this episode. The same people who bashed Carter and Clinton for military failures being only the president's fault now can't give credit where it is probably due. I saw another post where some wing nuts are claiming that President Obama would not give the order so that the military had to "overrule" him. Seriously? The Commander-in-Chief overruled by military brass. Are these people out to lunch?

8. Found on a wall today directly above the "Obama" meme:
"NEWS FLASH.... Your local convieniance stores and Ramada Inns will be closed temporarily due to a death in the family."

I will leave my posted response to your imagination. This reptile has been unfriended.
