What a shame Obama's mother didn't get to live to see Obama as Presidenrt
As this wonderful man, so calm, cool and intelligent. To know all her hard work paid off. It must pain him! At least his Grandmother got to know he was a candidate...though unfortunately she never knew he actually WON. They both would have been so proud...after all they both raised him.
Who knows...maybe they do know........

1. Yes. Thanks for writing that.
The man is unflappable, and unstoppable.

2. Oh, I dunno...
For all we know she is watching him from another dimension! I hope that is the case.

I love how he isn't reactionary... that had to have been taught to him early on. It seems so much a part of who he is... no matter what flaming poo bomb is lobbed at him, he won't blink, he won't flinch... but don't push him too far, because he can strike out at you and show what you're made of without batting an eye too! Like he did to Trump. Classic.

4. I personally believe they do know.
Though sometimes it's hard to remember.

8. This being human comes with a bad memory...
It's hard. We believe, we know we believe, but when faced with the reality that someone is no longer in our world, we find it hard to imagine them in the next... weird, isn't it?

3. I thought that as he was being inaugurated
Like Clinton, he seems to have had an unusual mother of whom he was genuinely fond and close.

5. My father didn't live long enough to see me start kindergarten.
Life can be very tough.
