All Casinos in Tunica MS closed - FLOODING
The news just said that the armored trucks have pulled up to collect the money and the casinos are ALL closing tonight. The flooding has begin, with some parking lots already under water.

We are getting ready for BIG flooding. More tornado warnings this afternoon, and downtown on the river front, today began our annual Memphis in May celebration.... Memphis and the midsouth is gonna get hit pretty hard I'm thinking.

4. Was that really necessary?
God knows we have alot of problems, but I think that was kind of insensitive considering how bad this could get for alot of innocent people. Sorry I can't have a better sense of humor about what is about to hit us. :(

This is the next big wave of tragedy for the midsouth and we have taken some really bad hits over the past couple weeks.

We just have to wait for it to happen - they are saying the flooding will take place over the next 10 days....

Annette

p.s. thank you to those who wish us well here. My thoughts are going out to all of us who are going through so much on earth right now. It is a very stressful time in our lives.

5. Hang in there AC...
Memphis is a great city and I have enjoyed it's hospitality (and it's ribs) on several occasions.
Every city in this country has something to offer that you can't get anywhere else, and your city has a lot more than most.

Oh, and GO MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES!

9. If there is one and only one thing Haley Barbour is concerned with it is keeping the casinos open

10. Tunica County is a sad place.
poorest county in the poorest state in the union. People there are desperate for any casino job they can get.
