Why are DU Lounge posts showing up on my Latest Page?

For many years now, I've had my Latest Page set to NOT show posts made in the Lounge. As I recall, this was offered as option quite a few years ago, and I immediately, happily and gratefully took advantage of it.

This evening I noticed that Lounge posts are showing up on my Latest Page. So I immediately clicked on Options>Forum Preferences in hopes of re-setting my Latest Page to not show Lounge posts -- only I couldn't find any such option.

What happened? Have we lost the option of blocking Lounge posts from showing up on the Latest page? May I please have it back?

1. We've never had an option to block the Lounge from the Latest page

We do have an option to hide GD/P, as well as the state forums, from the Latest page -- but not the Lounge. Threads that are started in the Lounge do not show on the Latest page for anybody, period.

However... when a thread is moved from another forum to the Lounge -- which happens from time to time -- that thread will show up on the Latest page. This is just a minor bug that we've never gotten around to fixing.

So that's what's happening -- you're seeing a thread that was moved from another forum (probably GD) to the Lounge. Other than these moved threads, you won't see Lounge threads on the Latest page.

I'm still wondering though -- was there ever a time in the misty long ago days when Lounge posts DID show up on the Latest? And then it was changed?

Or am I just a delusional old woman? :P
