I have been locked out of DU every night after one Am or so.

Probably for over the last eighteen months.

I "can sneak in" by using Google as a back door.

But if I just put www.democraticetc.com in the URL, I get a message that the server is not able to handle my request. And to try again.

Why is this?

1. Not sure why this might be happening

2. There's a lot of nightly maintenance that goes on

that can cause service interruptions. The servers are all set to reset every 30 minutes during this time period to restart any servers that go down.

3. The exact message I get is "This connection has been reet"

And it is on a Mozilla error page.

So it does sound like it is related to maintenance. For a long time I figured it was me and being tired, (your 4Am on east coast is my 1Am) but lately it seemed like it was more DU than me.
