Censorship?
First DU's mods moved a story, yesterday, detailing the piss-poor reasons why Obama didn't prosecute Bush and Cheney for torture.

Then DU's moderators moved a breaking news story, today, that the administration would VETO any bid by Palestine for statehood, and another that said that CIA rendition was still taking place under the current administration.

Censorship is SO ugly, moderators.

What gives?

1. Moderators move threads all the time
if they are not appropriate for the forum they've been posted in.

If you can give me links to the threads you're talking about, I'd be happy to take a look at them.

2. Serious BS

ALL OF THESE BREAKING NEWS STORIES WERE ORIGINALLY POSTED IN THE BREAKING NEWS FORUM.

And then moved to sub-forums were only a tiny fraction of DU's members could see any of them. I call that censorship.

The rendition news story was inappropriately moved to the Presidential sub-forum.

The torture news story, which had NOTHING to do with 9-11, was curiously moved to the 9-11 sub-forum. When I re-posted it as a breaking news story, this morning, it was promptly deleted as "untimely."

The Palestine story dealt directly with US policy, and, per DU's Breaking News "rules" met the criteria as a post for the breaking news forum.

There's some serious bullshit going on. It all adds up to me that someone at DU doesn't want the President news articles which could harm the President's reputation posted, even when the criticism could be justified and warrented.

4. That's not an answer...
That's not an answer...

That's a cop-out.

There was no disrespect in simply asking "Why?"

I've been posting at DU for years and never had a post moved.

Then I get three moved within 12 hours?

It's down-right suspicious.
