How long will "gruesome footage" ad run?
I know you've accepted this ad, and the reason given. I am a vegetarian and support the ad's cause. The image is, however, disturbing to me, and it would help if I had an idea of how much longer it will be in my line of vision. Thank you.

3. It looks like they renewed it, since it's November 1. I know it's a small matter...
but would you consider not renewing it again and/or not making it a permanent presence on DU? Maybe the organization has a different ad, or an ad that requires a click to view gruesome images of animal cruelty and suffering.
