I'd like to simply point out something I've noticed. When I post environmental news (in LBN) it is usually moved. However, other DUers' threads which are similar in content, are usually not moved.

Examples (other animal stories which were not moved from LBN):

3. These decisions are based on the post not the poster.
Obviously, there is a degree of subjectivity on the borderline cases, and sometimes similar stuff will get moved while other similar stuff will be permitted to stay.

It is that subjectivity that's made me hesitant to post environmental news in LBN. The last dolphin story that I posted in LBN turned into a joke once it was moved to GD. I would rather have a thread locked (and not moved to GD) than ridiculed.

Well, that's all I wanted to add. Thank you for giving DUers a chance to point out our concerns.
