Question about edit request
For the first time ever, I received an edit request -- on an article about the Obama administration conjuring up "internet IDs" for all of us.

I was told -- in vague and general ways -- the post didn't meet DU standards, though I quoted from a CBS article.

The only comment was that we don't post entire articles.

It wasn't -- even close -- to the entire article. Was the provided link actually clicked on, before the comment/request was made?

1. We ask that excerpts be limited to no more than three or four paragraphs.
In the notification you received, it should have said this:

Do not copy-and-paste entire articles onto this discussion forum. When referencing copyrighted work, post a short excerpt (not exceeding three or four paragraphs) with a link back to the original.

I see that you did edit it down to four paragraphs. Thank you.
