SPECTACULAR news from Arkansas-Sen. Lincoln up by 16 against Hendren/2 against Baker!!! in new poll
Edited on Thu Nov-19-09 10:40 PM by Politics_Guy25
Arkansas Senate - Baker vs. Lincoln Zogby Lincoln 41, Baker 39 Lincoln +2
Arkansas Senate - Hendren vs. Lincoln Zogby Lincoln 45, Hendren 29 Lincoln +16

I had thought that this race was going to be incredibly tough to win but if we have a good 2010, BL should be able to pull through.

This is a very strong performance by Blanche as well. Good news.

1. But how will she read it.
Will she see this as due to her refusal to go along with Health Care? If so, and she votes against health care, we should all donate to her Republican opponents. I'd rather have a snake that I know is a snake that a snake disguised as a friend.

7. When a 60% Dem votes against the 60% of legislation that really COUNTS
Then they are 100% USELESS and there is no difference between them and a repug.

8. It is about HOLDING the seats that we have in 2010
Any fool should want the democrats to win/hold as many seats as possible in 2010. Her vote is a vote on the organizing resolution for the senate in 2011 as well! Do you want a republican to be voting on that resolution helping Senate Majority Leader Mitch Mcconnell to organize the senate?? I am also celebrating the fact that Lincoln being ahead means that we are nowhere close to a 1994 climate.

Are you guys really that stupid?

13. So Democrats control the Senate now?

Hard to tell sometimes.

Too bad the Democrats seem unable to organize and lead the Senate. Why is that?

14. This looks like a very bad poll to me.
She is way under 50% in both matchups, a danger zone for incumbents, and her lead is statistically insignificant in the race against Baker.

She is very much in danger of losing her seat next year.

15. I honestly do not care much about whether DLCers win or lose.
They are Republicans to me. It's a wash.

Blanche is a DLCer.

I sure wish we could try a populist or two instead of these DLC swine. Populists are NOT progressives, tending to favor the conservative end of social legislation, but on bread and butter issues they are with the American people, not WalMart or Aetna. Fat chance with who is in charge of the DNC right now...or any of the other Democratic funding organizations, for that matter.

16. So what? So she can vote for more death, more Blackwater, and a bigger military?
Edited on Fri Nov-20-09 07:42 PM by BlueIdaho
So she can vote against the environmental, health care, and anything and everything else that might actually fit in a Democratic agenda? To hell with all these blue dogs including little Blanche.
