When Herman Cain says he’s “not supposed to know anything about foreign policy,” he really means it. On Wednesday, the Republican candidate asked a crowd in a heavily Cuban neighborhood in Florida how you say “delicious in Cuban.”

Cubans, of course, speak Spanish.

When I was younger my family would travel to Tampa, FL. to see relatives & we would always stop in Ybor City to get Cuban sandwiches! TASTY!!! Even as a child that was something I would always look forward to when we went to Tampa.

Probably up there with Obama saying: "There’s a lot of -- I don’t know what the term is in Austrian -- wheeling and dealing, and people are pursuing their interests, and everybody has their own particular issues and their own particular politics"

Looks like they both have something in common and that is the ignorance of languages.

Austrian is not 'proper german'. Germans themselves consider it sufficiently different to call Dialect - with a capital D. Commonplace nouns and verbs, take Street for example, take different forms in Austrian'. Slang, such as 'wheeling and dealing', varies greatly.. There's a certainly different term for it in 'German Speaking' Zurich :)
