30. Northampton County, PA results
The Easton-Bethlehem area, with its farms galore, is a heavily Republican part of the state. Despite low turnout, Democrats swept all four seats on the county council. Repukes still hold the majority, but now it's 5-4--Dems picked up 3 seats!

Damn good for a low-turnout local election, in a rural area of all places, if you ask me.

Not just a majority flip but a wholesale trouncing. We even got the better of the two rebulicans (more progressive and pragmatic) as our new mayor. Yeah!
