Interested in reducing big special interest money in politics?
First I apologize if this has already been posted, and in case it hasn't.

Dylan Ratigan has a online petition for folks to sign. It's certainly a first step in calling attention to much needed campaign finance reform. IMO this is a good opportunity to start pushing this issue to the forefront where it needs to be. We can't eliminate corruption completely, we never will and it needs to be more difficult to buy Congress.

You may need to try more than once because at certain times the site has been hammered.

2. How are candidates financing their campaign in this case?
Edited on Wed Sep-28-11 06:59 AM by Mass
If people are not allowed to contribute to campaigns, I am not sure how the system would work. I am not sure I understand it?

"No person, corporation or business entity of any type, domestic or foreign, shall be allowed to contribute money, directly or indirectly, to any candidate for Federal office or to contribute money on behalf of or opposed to any type of campaign for Federal office.

I am in favor of severe limitations on what an individual can give and I would make the same limitations when it comes to candidates using their own money, but I do not really understand how the system is supposed to work with these limits

3. Public, tax-payer funded financing I would assume.
