2. Christie got a Hurricane Irene bounce for telling people to "get the Hell off the beach" and
for yelling at Congress to stop playing with itself and send the FEMA money to Jersey.

4. That is the most recent result
I would take it with a grain of salt as it is 10 points higher than where the same poll placed him in May - http://www.nj.com/news/index.ssf/2011/09/gov_chris_christies_approval_i.html

Likely a result of being seen coordinating the response to the hurricane.

6. Tweety has a brother in public office one state over, in PA. A Republican...
I don't always trust Tweety to tell the truth about things. He does impart his POV, though.

I don't think that is a "hard" fifty four percent. He probably said something mean and pithy, and they took the poll right after that.

3. Hey BigDarryl--did you watch The View today?
Baba Wawa actually said that she thought he would end up the nominee.

He's said, repeatedly, that he doesn't want to run, that he has kids, he isn't ready for it, etc.

She used to schtup Senator Warner (and Sen. Brooke, back in the day) so she appears to be somewhat wired in to the GOP thinking.

I was totally convinced that he would not run. Now, I am a bit less certain!

I've heard what you've heard--he's not beloved. Joy Behar and Whoopie Goldberg made that quite clear in their comments, and the audience (many from NJ) concurred heartily.

8. Christy is a one-term governor after how he lied to the
unions: teachers, firefighters, cops, government workers before he was elected and then demonized them after he took office. He won't win re-election in NJ after that debacle.

9. I'll never understand the media's obsession with this bloated loudmouth.
What the hell is so great about him? I don't get it.

10. In the End, I Don't See Chris Christie Running
Maybe a fast walk or slight jog, but running? Not bloody likely.
