Anyone else notice the BS negative Obama post get rec'd up over the weekends?
This is the third weekend were I've notice a very caveat-ed bs post or story getting rec'd up over the week.

The latest is the one over Obama's small donors, it was a NYT story that was false on it face in regards to the pace of donations...

Just seems strange, when the Post count is low the BS articles come out and get 100-300 recs on them...

Your take?

Regards

1. Infiltration for the purpose of giving recs to negativity at a Progressive site?

In order to allow the media operatives to swoop down on DU,
and like vultures go through the pickings for their next day lead story?

Kind of like using the Internet as a tool. Plant a story, allow it to be disemnated over the Internet,
so that the story can gain traction, allowing even more corporate media outlets to feature it.

If you've noticed, many progressive sites conveniently believe the Mainstream Corporate media, now more than ever!

I’m always taking aback by those who allow the media to continuously manipulate us, divide us, and set us off on one another. It is with dismay that we witness leftists who don’t support President Obama using biased media sources to support their arguments against this administration, while actively dampening down Democrats’ enthusiasm as we head into a crucial election. They simply do not recall, and perhaps simply don’t want to, exactly what actions the Obama administration took that got the Tea Party movement started. They would prefer to call President Obama a corporatist and blame everything negative on him, rather than realizing that they have been played by forces measurably more powerful than the President himself. Maybe it is because, in their hearts, they know that the corporate media is such a power, and they are too afraid to confront it, and so turn a blind eye as to what it is that the media does, apart from a weak-throated complaint now and then when they are the party aggrieved.

3. Weekends tend to be the worst - Especially Holiday weekends.
More negative. Fewer positive posters.

It is noticeable. I've noticed it for years.

4. Again? Yet? Still?
Unsurprising, given the tenor of much of DU these days. Unsurprising for sure, but disappointing always.
