Dear Mr. President
Please honor the Palestinian request for UN statehood recognition. I implore you not to use your veto. There's a reason why you were awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize. The world had a tremendous amount of faith that you would bring fundamental change to US foreign policy.

Do the right thing. The world is watching.

Sincerely,
Cali_Dem

4. What am I doing to him?
What's wrong with asking him to support Palestinian statehood?

6. Because it's the right thing to do?
Or doesn't that matter anymore?

5. You might as well be asking him to jump off the bridge......
This is not the manner in which the Palestinians will get what they seek. They will get it, I believe, but the road to peace is not through this particular request to the UN. That's the reality.

7. Perhaps they should instead ask the UN to partition off a country for them?
After all, it has worked in the past for others.

8. You don't back it up very well
I don't understand Obama's reasons for this entirely, but I doubt he'd change his mind on such a one-sentence plea. Why is he doing it the way he is doing it, and counter that. If the POTUS is going to read your posts, make them worth reading for him.
