6. A President can lead his party to change the policies that reward companies for sending good paying
US jobs to be done be prison labor in China. What did you think his job was?

Edited on Wed Sep-21-11 05:40 PM by dennis4868
Not sure if you are just being dishonest or you are not following what's been going on the past few years...either way, the repubs love you man! The repub plan to COMPLETELY obstruct any progress from happening so that they can weaken Obama and get people to blame him for the bad economy is working better than they ever thought it could. Repub plan: OBSTRUCT = NO PROGRESS = BAD ECONOMY = WEAKEN OBAMA = Create a perception that Obama is ineffective and his base starts to talk primarying him =====REPUBLICAN MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! :-(

10. I'm with you my man...
Edited on Wed Sep-21-11 07:30 PM by dennis4868
Obama is an asshole for actually putting up with all the record fillubusters by the repubs and obstruction. He could have easily ignored all of that and passed put 100% progressive laws all by himself. Why did he work with the repubs and pass legislation that was not 100% perfect when he could have done all of this himself. Hey and forget the weak dems on so many issues that did not allow Obama to follow through on his promises (e.g., closing Gittmo). So I'm with you my main man! :-)

5. I think that at the very beginning, businesses were scared to death
when they were told the sky was falling and there was talk of a Great Depression II.

Businesses immediately cut back, froze hiring. For many, hiring is still frozen

They learned to get along with a reduced workforce.

Regular people just had to work harder.

This is why there's no job growth, things are stagnant

It's all perception.

To me, this horrendous scare at the end of Bush's term and the beginning of Obama's
is still spooking people
