Poll question: On Supporting Pres. Barack Hussein Obama's policy proposals going forward...,
Edited on Sun Sep-18-11 05:02 PM by FrenchieCat
Have you just given up so it doesn't matter anymore, or will you support those policies that you agree with that he proposes as much as you can? Will you Fight, find flaws or just go about your day of doing whatever it is that you do as usual? Be bold! Take a stance, even if no one will ever truly know.....

1. I hope folks aren't afraid to take this poll!
It's not a hard one...and in fact, those choices are some that I have read right here on this site in reference to the Millionaire tax increase proposal.

3. Other --
Usually there are things I like and things I don't like about his proposals (never perfect in my mind), but I support HIM come hell or high water.

5. Depends. Jobs bill is a start, I'll support that.
Raising Medicare eligibility to 67, on the other hand, is horrific.

6. I'm talking about what he has actually proposed......
and of course, one should judge each policy separately, and support what one
agrees with, I would humbly suggest.

14. from the new republic...re: deficit reduction proposal
Of that $2 trillion, $1.5 trillion would come from higher taxes on the wealthy, particularly millionaires. The rest would come from spending cuts, including about $250 billion from Medicare. But the cuts would be similar in structure to the ones in the Affordable Care Act – i.e., they would be changes in the way the program pays for medical care, not changes in the benefits that individual seniors receive. Increasing the programs’ eligibility age from 65 to 67, one of the most controversial ideas the administration contemplated, is not part of this proposal.

15. Great news, if it pans out
But I'm furious that a Democratic President deciding not to propose a radical right policy is what counts as "great news" these days.

19. Hasn't that always been the case?
I'm not sure I understand...if he's not proposing a radical right policy, isn't he then proposing a democratic policy which is what he should be doing? It seems you're maybe just looking for a reason to criticize perhaps?
