Bill Clinton's Hand Tremor
Edited on Sun Sep-18-11 01:38 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
I watched him on MTP and Face The Nation and noticed a slight tremor in his right hand.

Is there any medical significance?

1. FWIW, that's not new.
I recall noticing it for the past few years.

4. Could be a side effect of some of the meds, after his heart surgery.
A friend of mine had a heart attack, and for years afterward he had to take a variety of drugs to keep healthy. Some of whatever Clinton got put on after his heart surgery might have muscle tremors as a side-effect.

2. Have no idea, but the two times
I saw him in person, I was struck with how beautiful his hands really are, with long slender fingers. Oddly enough, they photograph as large and unattractive.

7. Interesting that you should say that.
Hillary has said many times that the first thing that attracted her to Bill were his hands. That he had beautiful hands.

:)

17.  As gorgeous as George Costanza's.
However, Bill will never win a contest.

5. essential tremor
I remember reading that he had it checked by a neurologist and they think it's essential tremor which can progress but is fairly benign.

6. He's spoken about it in the past.
He had it checked because he thought that he may have Parkinson's disease, but he doesn't have it. Doctors told him it's just an age thing.

:(

18. His body may be failing a little.
But age has certainly not diminished the man's mind. I still am entranced whenever he speaks.

Thanks for your words of support President Clinton.

13. Did You Think It Was A Cheap Shot Or Not?
I know "you are supposed to protect yourself at all time" but I think other boxers wouldn't have taken advantage of the situation. It's like a "fake spike" on steroids.

15. I never saw the fight, just read about it.
I would never have taken that shot, but I would never have given the hug either. As the ref tells you before the fight starts.......

16. Most Boxers Wouldn't Have Taken Advantage Of The Situation Because Of The Attendant Bad Publicity
But Mayweather delights in being the villain.
