Something Occurred To Me About Perry's Debacle At The Debate
I didn't watch the debate, but I saw the clip where he said for someone to suggest he could be bought for $5,000 was "insulting." First thing I thought was. well, he was admitting right then and there he COULD be bought. If I was there, I'd have loved to ask him," Mr. Perry, at what price CAN you be bought, since you just admitted on national t.v. that you CAN be bought?"

Or am I the only one who thought this? Maybe a minor point, but anyway, there it is.

1. Not only are you not the first person to think this
someone else posted a thread on the point here yesterday.

Here, as yesterday I will again add my purely secondary and off point comment:

The fact checkers reported that Perry actually received $6,000 rather than $5,000 from Merck.

That extra thousand must have made a whee of a difference.

3. I believe the new number is $29,000 and change, plus,
The Republican Governors Association, of which Perry was was chairman, received $337,000 from Merck to disperse in gubernatorial elections as Perry saw fit.

the donation, though. Perry's former aid went to work for the pharma manufacturer, and personally asked Perry to mandate the vaccine requirement for all those girls. So there's no telling what kind of quid pro quo was going on, or would or will go on. It was all so obvious and sleazy.

If a person is going to be corrupt, he should be more discreet.

4. Also...
his poutrage when he delivered that 'bought for $5000' line was completely unbelievable. He is obviously NOT a product of Lee Strasberg's acting workshop.

7. Lets just hope if Whorehouse Perry get the ticket that
Obama has the balls to use the talking point Perry is giving him.
