Just proudly gave, what I can give, to Obama's 2012 reelection campaign
It hasn't been a pretty first term, lots I disagree with him on and I'm not solely driven by the complete terror I feel at the prospect of the alternative - any alternative. He remains an inspirational figure to me and I want him to succeed and think he deserves another four years on the job.

1. The only alternative
is to push him to do what is right now, instead of waiting for re-election. Keep fighting for the jobs bill and don't let them break it up. Go after the banksters. Do something about oil speculation.

Stand up for the little guy.

I want him to succeed. I want him to help me forget the past two and half years. If he can do that then I'll donate again.

22. Allowing gays to serve openly in the military is a good thing. I don't think you
will get an argument from anyone here about that. But some of us regard that as nothing more than a few crumbs tossed our way to distract us from so many other issues. This administration is in bed with Wall Street and is beholden to big money interests. Yes, they can give us gays in the military because that won't cost the ruling class any money and it won't stop our military involvement all over the world.

23. So everything GOOD that he gets done="a few crumbs tossed our way"? And if
he's so "in bed with Wall Street" etc., why does Wall St. HATE him?

especially if things continue the same as they are now. Obama can get his funds from Wall Street and Corporations the way he has always done.
