Chris Matthews on Hardball and guests are hammering Rick Perry on
His crony capitalism and Pay-To-Play in Texas. They said the Merck deal ($29,000 to Perry and $337,000 to the GOP Governors' Campaign which Perry was head of) is only the start. They mentioned the Bob Perry $2 mil contribution to Perry's campaign to get an agency created, the Texas Residential Construction Commission, which was designed to keep home buyers from being able to sue homebuilders for outrageous defects. The commission required arbitration with a board set by the homebuilders. The commission waas disbanded a few years ago after their agenda was proven and the State Comptroller stopped their funding. They said there are dozens more instances that have been written about Perry using taxpayers funds to enrich his buddies.

1. The MSM and GOP elite don't want Perry to get the nomination
because they know he would be easier to defeat than Mittens.

6. It seems to me like the media has already called the 2012 election for the Republicans
Or at least that's what they want us to think is inevitable given all of the President's "problems". :eyes:

4. Hell, most Republimorons are probably proud of crony capitalism...
It's ridiculous that Palin is complaining when she filled the Alaska State House with her own cronies.

5. Yeah, that was a good segment. The other Repub candidates aren't addressing these issues...
regarding Perry (except for Bachman, somewhat). It'll be up to the media. It's their job.

They've done it in the past already with Romney and Obama, so now it's Perry's time, since he's the new kid on the Presidential block.
