4. I'd completely forgotten Ed did that.

I am livid at every Democrat who threw Anthony Weiner under the bus. Unimaginably ignorant, deluded, and shortsighted. Thanks for jogging my memory.

And thank you, Big Ed, for helping us lose this seat. I really had forgotten why I stopped watching your show. Ed is no longer on our local radio station so I totally would have missed this circumvention.

For the record, the President turned his back on Weiner, too. That sticks in my craw as well.

5. I don't think any Dem or Lib should have pressured Weiner to quit ...
... he might have resigned anyway but it was stupid of Dems and Dem friendly pundits to call for it.

6.  I also have to add that Ed and others like him demoralized the public so much
with his doomsday, "blame the Democrats" rhetoric in 2010 that it had an impact on the outcome of the midterm elections. I truly believe that. I don't blame him 100%, of course, but do blame the pessemistic rhetoric. I strongly believe that it has a negative effect on voters.

7. Surely does. If our 'supporters' do this, what other attitude can we take?

8. Look I know Ed does some good things once in a while but I'm really
starting to question him being a true Progressive for him to be on the air for three hours broadcasting in NY and not bring up NY-9 is a little suspect to me.
