1. Why does he fault 'Congress' and not specifically the obstructionist GOP?

When he tells us to tell Congress something, it sounds (TO ME) that he feels overpowered by them. Does not make him sound strong at all.

I think he pointed out which side he was talking about when he mentioned what "REPUBLICAN" aid had said to the newspaper.

BUT a lot of dingbat, go-alonger Democrats (Blue Dogs, Liebercrats, usual suspects, etc.) are plenty worthy of blame too.

7. Because he wants people mad at their Democratic Congressmen?

This is going to bring him an incalculable amount of political damage. Dems in Congress are not going to go all out in support of this President when he is at the least, not defending his own party members.

I think it illustrates Obama's delusion that he can remain above the fray and garner tens of millions of "independent" voters by shifting blame to Congress and appearing helpless. :puke:

This is exactly what needs to be done, go after the republicans on this and don't stop! When republicans pick tax breaks and subsides for oil companies and the rich over fixing schools, or repairing bridges, it's not going to go over well for them at all!
