I am sure that we will see the rubble moment and the pitch at Yankee stadium

other than that the product of our bubble media must be like an old girlfriend to them - yes great memories of what they made of her but then there is the utter failure of the relationship.

Then there is the war in Iraq. Hard to spin that one.

And THEN there is the issue of President Obama actually getting Osama Bin Laden. That's a tough twist.

or will it all be eagles wrapped in flags with Lee Greenwood or Toby Keith a'singin'

1. They'll just ignore the parts they don't want to deal with.....
they are very good at that.

Additionally, I'm sure the media will pat itself on the back, as they interview each other.
They are excellent at that...the bestest mostest greatest political network eva! :patriot:

2. If Bush or McCain had been president after capturing Osama, they would trumpet that all weekend
It wouldn't surprise me if Obama never mentions OBL.

Hold on there Bucko....Didn't you hear?

Bush Credits ‘The Work That Was Done’ During ‘My Presidency’ For Osama Bin Laden’s Death

President Bush sat down with USA Today to discuss the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and his role in shaping U.S. policy in their aftermath. During the interview, Bush thought he’d take the opportunity to pat himself on the back for Osama bin Laden’s death:

Bush said the events that led to the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden in May began during his administration.

“The work that was done by intelligence communities during my presidency was part of putting together the puzzle that enabled us to see the full picture of how bin Laden was communicating and eventually where he was hiding,” he said. “It began the day after 9/11.”

7. If only he'd take the same credit for the economy. He's still a jerk, but...
I hope he's treated respectfully by NY'ers this weekend. They can talk shit about him after he's gone back to TX.

8. I saw that but it was on NewsMax and I didn't want to post a link to that crap here
He dragged out that tired talking point that went nowhere when Obama actually got Bin Laden. It made the Republican talking heads look petty so they ran away from it....not W though but then what else does he have left?

6. To be perfectly honest, I hope nothing happens.
I despise what that man did to this country, but I hope he's treated with respect at the memorial service. That should be about remembering the 3000 lost on that day, not about politics or ideology.
