Perry's "Hop"
During the debate, Rick Perry did a weird "hop" in the middle of his answer about Social Security, right when he was about to say it was "a ponzi scheme." His whole body raised up briefly before he settled in for the rest of the sentence. The news programs have been replaying this one answer, and his body language seems a bit creepy. Perhaps he was excited to bring out this talking point. However, it seemed more like he was trying to get up and go, as if he could find any way out of this opinion except to physically leave. This is his Achilles heal, and Romney is going to nail him on it relentlessly. Not only does make Perry out to be a villain among older Americans, it makes him look uncomfortable in general.

1. Talk about body language... sheesh! I feel sorry for Paul here.
