during the wild fires.

Just curious, since he is making noises about not going to their debate tomorrow because of the wild fires/

1. Perry is too scared to debate people. It'll show his drooling clown-like nature. n/t
:scared:

How would Perry help the put out the fires? Tax breaks? Cut funding for the forest service and firefighters? Chew holes in the hoses?

9. He Did Not Debate For Governor
He came up with a lame excuse that Bill White did not release all his financial information. Note. Perry hadn't released all of it either.

So...he is out of practice when it comes to debates.

I am sure when he becomes the Republican nominee he won't debate Obama until Obama comes up with a Birth Certificate that meets all the looney fringe's requirements and produces 10-20 live witnesses to the birth. Nothing TOO extreme. (sarcasm)

3. They just talked about this on the Thom Hartmann Show.
A caller from Texas was saying he's a poor debater and will duck out of a debate if he can.

7. Yes, that's what the caller said. She (the caller) also said
she thought Perry might use the fire to stay home and duck tomorrow's debate.

8. Perry (R) is helping by begging America for a Socialism Handout
The Republicons "think" that what they call 'socialism' is eeeevil, unless it is for them, in which case it has the Blessings of Jeebus.

11. He missed the forum yesterday.
Five major Republican presidential contenders paraded their conservative credentials Monday at the Palmetto Freedom Forum in Columbia, S.C., the first of several events this month that signal the slow-to-start GOP contest is moving into a higher gear.

skip...

Missing from the stage was Perry, who bowed out at the last minute to return home to deal with wildfires raging across thousands of acres in Texas.
