The tea partiers are not going to like this!

(Photo is too large.)

From a couple weeks ago, but still good:

Organize for America opened a new office in east Orlando to an overflow crowd tonight. The crowd came in part to hear U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who is also chair of the Democratic National Committee. But most appeared to be current campaign volunteers or ready to enlist.

….. This is not the campaign committee’s entrance to Orlando, but merely a short move, a few blocks down Colonial, in a quest for more room. OFA first set up shop last spring in offices at the corner of Colonial and Mills.

Last night it still was no where near enough room. The crowd filled OFA’s new second floor suite of offices at 1516 E. Colonial Dr., as well as both the first and second floor lobbies.

They moved to a new office because they needed more room. And they STILL had an overflow crowd!

More than a year before the election!

So much for Obama supposedly losing the base!

2. I Live Across The State & This Really Blows Me Away... EVERYTHING I
hear from my local news is ALL BAD! But how does this explain ACTUAL polls here in Florida for Obama? Almost ALL of them show him as an underdog against a Repuke.

Mind you, I'm NO big fan of Wasserman-Schultz and Obama has been a REAL disappointment for me, but this is making me feel a LOT better for other Democrats here in Florida. One in particular who lost his race last time out. Right in that area too. Alan Grayson! He IS my type of Democrat and I'll side with him anytime. Maybe this is a VERY GOOD sign for him.

I HAVE said I will vote for "O" again, but I WILL NOT donate or campaign for him again. I don't feel he's going to be able to pump me up enough and I'm not even expecting his speech to have much substance. Plus, I don't think he's willing to draw the line in the sand. At this late date, even if he does draw the line I'm still not going to go out hit the pavement for him. But I will hold my nose and do my duty and vote. There's not racial bone in my body so it has NOTHING to do with that, it's just that I feel he's taken me and my vote for granted.

However, I am glad to see some LIFE for Democrats here in Florida. Even the state level is wimpish and very moderate. But, that's where Obama is so it bodes well for him. I will add that I have a fervent wish that Obama will make me eat crow!! But, I no longer use the word HOPE!

3. Good thing, as evidenced by this story, that people feel differently than you.
We will need them.

6. Sure... To Each His Own. Your Thoughts Are As Important To You As Mine Are
to me. I did work very hard for the man last time around, and it wasn't the most friendly of encounters many, many times given where I live. NOT going to go through that again, especially given MY FEELINGS. Do I think he'll get re-elected, probably... more likely than not, but not as sure as I once thought it would be.

He was dealt a shitty hand, but there's that old saying "if you can't play with the big dogs, get off the porch." I'm no country girl out in the boon docks, but there's a lot of those kind of people all around me. This county hasn't elected ANY Democrat to any position that meant a hill of beans that I can ever remember, and I've lived here for more than 30 years.

Sooooooooooo, we're RED and doors getting slammed in my face is not my idea of a fun time, especially when my heart isn't in it.

14. Yes, yes, and YES!
You are so right. Obama is such a disappointment, and is extremely frustrating. Like you, I will hold my nose and vote for him, but he obviously doesn't need my money because he's sucking to the same people the R's suck up to for money. So I'll hold on to mine, thank you.

Or...maybe I'll send it to Grayson. Is he running for his old seat? Do you know? I thought I read that he's running for Senator. Is that true? I LOVE Grayson. Wish we had a House and Senate full of Graysons.

5. This is right down the road from me
This county went Obama in 08. Hopefully it will again in the next election. There might be a lot of disappointed Dems here but we are not stupid and going to make it easy for a Rep. Candidate.

9. I don't think its so much for Obama but the fear of baggers winning seats. It
must not happen. Obama is the only adult in the room. Maybe if he gets reelected he'll get better and stand up for the democrats.

12. Voting for Perry Vs. Obama is like choosing to eat a pile of crap or a limburger and anchovy sanwich
both options stink, but at least the sandwich is KINDA edible.

I'll vote for the sandwich, but only if something better doesn't come along.

15. I adore both Wisconsin Limburger and Quality Restaurant Grade..
Anchovies in the big tins. Perry doesn't even rate as 'a pile of crap'. Crap can fertilize your garden.
