I'm seeing news stories calling it a "concession". There's nothing automatically wrong with that, sometimes you have to make concessions. And then people can judge whether it was worth it, etc.

So, what did Obama get for this?

3. I don't like to see sentences that end with a question mark on DU.
It makes it look like you are questioning President Obama. We don't do that here. We love President Obama. if he did something, it is by definition a good thing. If he has done something that the left disagrees with, they should be scolded not him.

It's such a beautiful day today. Just be happy because whatever decision the President makes, it's a good decision.

4. Maybe he wasn't looking for a concession, but really thought
that right now was a bad time to add new regulations.

6. A lot of insults from the GOP
Boner responded by saying its good step, but the regs arevjust the tip of the iceburg of the destructive plans by Obama and tye Democrats to impose job killing over regulation, taxes, etc.....

They really gave him credit for caving in to the demands of the GOP and the Corporate Overlords.

Meanwhile evvironmentalists lost a bit more faith and enthusiasm
