The President is not at fault for the job numbers.
Although, the republicans and the media are busy blaming him for the unemployment rate
it is not President Obama's fault. The very same epugs who are yapping about the bad job's
#s have been taking money from the Chamber of Commerce and corporations that have been busy
shipping millions of jobs out of the country.

Damn it Mr. President call these hypocritical bastards out. They want bad job #s so some republican
can win in 2012 and really don't give a shit about the unemployed except for trying to channel their
anger against Obama.

Cleveland Twist Drill Bits .... now made in China :grr:

1. I honestly don't see where there's much that he can do. I really believe
we are in a new era, and companies are not going to rehire back all the people they shed over the last decade, and housing isn't going to be built left and right, for a long, long time.

3. There is some stuff we can do such as:
Buy American

But the republicans are willing to make millions suffer in order to beat Obama in 2012.

5. I agree completely.
His only failure in this respect is to stand firm instead of giving in to the cons.

6. Corporate greed is what is causing the high unemployment
Profit, profit, profit.

To get that they make the same with less people, outsource and cut the number of products they produce.

Virtually every company is doing the same thing from GM all the way down to main street. If they can't outsource it, they just cut the people they have to the point where those that are left are stressed to the point of breaking.

The corporations know they can push people because the unemployment rate is high and that can drive the fear of loosing your job. You are also much easily replaced with this many people looking for jobs and you will work for less.

GREED!

11. Thats bullshit. The buck stops with all of government. Truman was wrong.
I know people like to bring up that old saying all the time. But the reality is, Congress is just as powerful as the President. They have just as much power to create inaction as the President does. They have just as much power to prevent government from doing the right things. The buck stops with the President, the House and the Senate, period. "The buck stops here" is an oversimplified argument that does not reflect the reality of how our government is structured.

16. I have high regard for Truman, I'm just saying that its an "end all, be all" rule.
Responsibility for the way legislation goes down does not rest wholely on one President unless its a situation where the President can veto a good or bad bill for a good or bad reason. But the "buck" can't stop there if it never even gets that far.

18. Obama only does good. If he hate on the left, they deserve it.
He can do no wrong. Anyone who questions him is the problem. Send money to his campaign, support him without questioning. Volunteer and vote.

19. You should question him.
But some people would rather bash him without any facts. Such as the oil sands and blaming Obama when he hasn't even weighed in on whether he will permit this or not.
