Obama +3 approval, -4 disapproval in today's Gallup
Edited on Fri Sep-02-11 02:06 AM by Adenoid_Hynkel
a bit of a rebound from the record lows he was at.

He's at 42/50 now, while nothing to write home about, it's still an improvement from the 39/54 he landed at post-debt ceiling deal. Hopefully, he can get some momentum out of next week and the trend will continue.

I realize one shouldn't pay too close of attention to day-to-day numbers, but if everyone's going to breathlessly report the 39%, it's worth pointing out an upward movement.

5. That;s a function of their algorithm.
Without looking, it is ecause when he was really at his worst, there were still some week or two old etter numbers that later aged out.

3. His numbers aren't going to turn positive unless the public sees that he's fighting for them.

4. Acquiescing doesn't seem to be working for Obama very well.
