2. I can't imagine why Repugs won't vote for Pres. Obama - Hell,
he gives them everything they want whenever they ask for it.

3. WRONG! The game starts at 8:30PM! There's no reason Obama can't be done
with his speech by then if he begins at 7:00PM! I think it was a good decision. It made the Pubs look like AH's AGAIN, and lots of people will still be able to watch the President AND the Game!

5. I agree. It will be better for him at the end of the day.
Also, a guest on KO suggested that if he did the speech after the Repub debate, he can say, support me or you get what you just heard.

4. Who fucking cares.
Save the anger for if/when he caves on something substantial.

14. Exactly. I've criticized Obama's caves on big stuff. I don't care about this.
Frankly, someone at the White House should've been on the ball about the scheduling from the beginning, and said, "Let's not try to do this September 7. There's a debate already scheduled. Going on September 8 won' kill us." Having missed that opportunity, Obama shows strength of character by modifying his previous position when a legitimate objection is voiced.

Yes, Boehner should also have raised the point earlier. Still, not only is it of no substantive importance, but Obama wasn't completely in the right, as he was on other matters (Bush tax cuts, etc.).

I just got an email from Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility about the administration's caving to industry on a host of regulatory issues. I'll save my outrage for that, not for this tempest in a teapot.

Then he can rebut all of their bullshit, right away....
when everyone will be watching the president on television waiting for the
football season kicker...

5th graders can name-call all they want,
cause that's all they do anyways.
