Here on DU, there is daily complaining that Obama needs to attack the GOP more.

And if you ask folks how he should do it, they often make recommendations that won't really go anywhere. Sure, we on the left will feel better for a few minutes, but the government won't do anything positive at all as a result. The GOP gets what they really want ... total inactivity of government.

So this is a great way to punch back some, but in a way that doesn't require that the government come to a halt in the process.

I never heard a peep from Republicans about Sarah Palin taking her bus tour through New Hampshire on the same day Romney announced his candidacy, or when Perry rolled out his campaign at the same event where Michelle Bachmann was at in Iowa. I guess it's only bad when President Obama does it.
