3. "Adios, Mofo"
KTRK reporter Ted Oberg was interviewing Perry on Monday about the governor's plan for school finance when Perry politely told the reporter he would have to wait until Tuesday for details about the plan.

"In saying goodbye, I told the governor, 'Try as I may, governor, I guess I can't win this one,'" Oberg said.

About 10 seconds after Oberg and Perry said goodbye, the camera crew was getting ready for the next interview with another TV station when Perry, unaware that the camera was still rolling and his microphone still on, said, "Try as I may, governor, I'm not going to wait that long. Adios Mofo."

11. Which will be why he is going to win the nomination ...
I have said for MONTHS now, it was a two horse race with him and mittens ...

I am pretty sure it is Perry now.

This party has lost its mind, collectively, and they were dying for someone in some form who they could get behind who was going to be a frothing at the mouth unabashed right wing hero.

Perry is it.

10. Where do people get these comparisons ...
He is the complete OPPOSITE of Fred Thompson ...

First, Thompson was a talking corpse, and it was no secret the guy had no motivation to campaign. Perry has TONS of energy and is a big time campaigner.

Second, Thompson was a moderate (by modern standards) as a republican, Perry will be to the right of Bachmann - and sorry, THAT is what the frothing at the mouth, lunatic republican party is looking for now.

15. Yep. Fred Thompson was such a sarcastic, smug A-Hole.
Ron Paul even did better than him.
