7. Molly and Bush and Perry

Molly Ivins, despite the Shrub references, always said not to let Bush fool us - that while she disagreed with him on many things, he's actually very intelligent (and she knew him personally quite well). She also said something along the lines of, "Now if Rick Perry were to ever get the presidential bug - I couldn't say the same, that man has no mind for politics and government except what his donors tell him."

Molly also went off on Perry when his car was stopped by law enforcement for speeding and was caught on dashcam video acting like a complete ass and pulling off that, "Do you know who I am?" crap. That video is an opposition researchers dream come true if/when Perry throws his hat in the ring. It says a lot about the man.

Edit: Hey, I hated Bush just like everyone else, but Molly was right:
GWB has a B.A from Yale and an M.B.A from Harvard.
Rick Perry has a B.S. in Animal Science from Texas A&M.
