My congress critter, steve king, suggested a couple weeks ago that they should all vote no on any agreement to raise the ceiling, and then impeach Obama because it wasn't raised.

and I don't blame you. I only know one person who was "intrigued" by the teabaggers at first but has come to see them for the freak show they are (she's a moderate republican and feeling like she doesn't have a party at the moment).

As I have repeatedly pointed out, the President got his own plan passed in the debt deal (unlikely in any case, and nearly impossible in this one), including the creation of a "super-Congress," which sounds suspiciously like this President dusted off the previous President's NSPD-51 and asserted his authority as "coordinator" of Congress in times of emergency.

And no, there's not a single damned clause in the Constitution that allows for that. But it sure looks like it just happened, and the Tea Party is stupid enough to call attention to it, too.
