"This is a 'Tea Party Downgrade.'"
Edited on Sun Aug-07-11 12:09 PM by jenmito
I HOPE that we FINALLY have a Democratic talking point (re: the S&P downgrade) . I heard this line from John Kerry on MTP and from David Axelrod on FTN today. I hope to hear more of it. It can stick.

3. One small thing,

Democrats also need to let people know that while the Tea Party is a fringe element of the GOP, the GOP is also largely responsible for this mess.

Whether people think the Tea Party is a legitimate party or not, a Republican is a Republican period. None of them should get passes.

Will check the interviews later. :kick: :patriot:

10. Well its just honest truth telling
so good for them. If the debt ceiling had passed cleanly like the dozens of others in the past the S&P would not have downgraded anything I'll bet. This was a manufactured crisis and now we all pay for it.

because it's usually 4 to 1 in favor of Repuke talking points on CNN
