Where are Boehner and Cantor?
Not a peep since the S&P action.

9:15 pm Politicians Begin to Weigh Inby Matthew RoseAdd a Comment S&P laid a lot of blame at the feet of Washington’s “weakened” political institutions in its downgrade bill of indictment, chiding their unpredictability and lack of effectiveness. Well, members of said institutions are beginning to weigh in, and not surprisingly, they’re using the event to buttress their pre-existing political positions.

1. Sitting on a beach at some posh resort, as a reward from their corporate backers?
Just a wild guess. I can picture John and Eric kicking back under a cabana sipping rum cokes with cute escorts rubbing their backs, supplied by the Koch brothers as a reward for a job well done.
