Waving a scrap of paper and saying it meant peace in our time?

If you haven't read Naomi Klein's THE SHOCK DOCTRINE yet, get it fast because Wall street has hooked the jumper cables to our skin, but they haven't hooked the other pair to the battery yet.

We desperately need a government that will fight for us, and not one filled with pols looking for future jobs with hedge funds, banks, and corporations or deferred bribes like a fat donation to a presidential library or inflated speaking fees.

Wall Street is coming after us with chainsaws and the Democrats in Congress are just pretending it's a friendly game of croquet. We need to replace them or figure out how to work around them.

I hope Wikileaks and Anonymous are working overtime.
