Boehner already took the credit. Boehner got 98% of what he wanted, and so he owns
S&P downgrade, which was a direct results of his "wants".
It's all his and his peeps making, period.

Are we supposed to now ask who's to blame, and if so, why? Cause the funky ass media
wants to know? Hell, if they didn't see that interview, perhaps we need to send it to them!

Boehner: I got ’98 percent’ of what I wanted in debt deal
By Daniel Strauss -

House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said he got "98 percent" of what he wanted in the final deal to raise the debt ceiling.

"When you look at this final agreement that we came to with the White House, I got 98 percent of what I wanted. I'm pretty happy," Boehner said in an interview with CBS News on Monday evening.

1. The downgrade was not a sudden occurence
It has been building up for decades starting with Reagan. Boehner's 98% was the last straw which broke the camel's back, that's all.
